THE MBAPPE SIGNATURE MOVE
Kylian Mbappé's signature move is often referred to as his "cut inside" or "Mbappé dribble." It's a move that allows him to quickly change direction, typically when he's running down the wing and looking to cut into the center of the field. Here's how you can do it:
Steps for Mbappé’s signature move:
Start with Speed: Mbappé is known for his incredible pace, so you’ll want to begin with a good burst of speed. Run down the wing, facing toward the goal.
Position the Ball: As you run, keep the ball close to your feet, but not too close. You want to be able to move it quickly without losing control.
Fake a Cross or Shot: As you approach a defender (or a space), Mbappé often gives the impression that he’s going to cross the ball or shoot. You can do this by slightly opening your body, as if you’re preparing to cross it with your right (or left) foot.
Quick Cut Inside: This is the key part of the move. Using the inside of your foot (on your strong side), quickly push the ball in the opposite direction to where you were initially heading. For example, if you're running down the right wing, use the inside of your right foot to quickly push the ball to the left (cutting inside).
Accelerate: As soon as you cut inside, explode with pace to get past the defender. Mbappé is known for accelerating after the cut, so this part is crucial to creating separation.
Finish or Pass: Once you’ve made the cut and gained space, you can either shoot at goal or make a pass depending on the situation.
